Welcome! I am Tineke Swieringa, born in 1960 in Rotterdam and - artwise – self-taught.
Recurrent theme in my work is room to move in the widest sense of the word: the thresholds we encounter or erect for ourselves, ánd the other side: the many ways we can create room by interpretation and imagination.
Technics: digitally finished gouaches and collages.
The drive for all my work: I want to ”shoot” the past and save new impressions for the future. And for others of course.
